Josh Brolin to narrate Nat Geo’s “Untamed Americas”

The Oscar-nominated actor will lend his voice to the four-part series which will explore the wilderness of North, Central and South America.

Oscar-nominated actor Josh Brolin (Milk, True Grit) will provide the narration for National Geographic Channels’ four-part mini-series, Untamed Americas.

The special event, due to premiere in late spring of this year, explores the wilderness of North, Central and South America, and how various species adapt in survive in the various regions’ mountains, deserts, coasts and forests. It will be the first U.S. simulcast for all three channels in the Nat Geo portfolio – National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild and Nat Geo Mundo, and will also be broadcast in international territories.

Untamed Americas is produced by National Geographic Television for National Geographic Channels. For National Geographic Television, series producer is Karen Bass, senior producer is Anne Tarrant and executive producer is Jonathan Halperin. For National Geographic Channels, executive producer is Ashley Hoppin, and executive vice president of programming is Michael Cascio.
