The CW sets May dates for “Catalina,” “Breaking Pointe”

U.S. broadcaster The CW has set May premiere dates for its forthcoming reality series The Catalina, which follows employees and guests at a Miami hotel, and Breaking Pointe, which looks at the competitive world of ballet.

U.S. broadcaster The CW has set May premiere dates for its forthcoming reality series The Catalina and Breaking Pointe.

The Catalina, which follows employees and guests at a Miami hotel, will premiere May 29 at 8 p.m. EST, while Breaking Pointe, which looks at the competitive world of ballet, will kick off on May 31 at 8 p.m.

The Catalina is from Bischoff Hervey Entertainment, with Eric Bischoff and Jason Hervey (Confessions of a Teen Idol) the executive producers. Breaking Pointe, meanwhile, is produced by BBC Worldwide Productions, with Kate Shepherd (Wife Swap), Izzie Pick Ashcroft (Dancing with the Stars) and Jane Tranter (Top Gear) the exec producers.

The CW said premiere dates for two further reality series, musical competition The Star Next Door and gameshow Oh Sit!, will be announced in due course.
