Simon Spalding (pictured), most recently FremantleMedia’s regional CEO for Europe and Asia Pacific, has been named CEO of interactive format creator Yummi Media Group.
Spalding will begin his position immediately, and is responsible for the international roll out of Yummi’s new entertainment formats and the continuing development and strategic direction of the company.
UK-based Yummi Media Group specializes in the development and management of game formats, integrating mobile, social gaming and television, and its latest creation, an as-yet-unnamed format, allows audiences to play along on a mobile app that is fully synchronized with the TV broadcast.
Spalding has 12 years of experience at Fremantle, where he held various senior positions, including director of operations for Asia Pacific and CEO of FremantleMedia Licensing Worldwide.
