Renewals round-up: “Storage Wars,” “Hell’s Kitchen,” “RuPaul’s Drag Race”

Storage Wars (pictured), Hell’s Kitchen and RuPaul’s Drag Race are among the reality series to receive renewal notices this week.

U.S. cable net A&E has greenlit a 26 episode third season of the auctioneer show Storage Wars, as well as a second season of spinoff series Storage Wars: Texas and a second season of Shipping Wars. Storage Wars and Storage Wars: Texas are produced by Original Productions while Shipping Wars is produced by Megalomedia.

Meanwhile, U.S. broadcaster Fox has renewed culinary star Gordon Ramsay’s cooking show Hell’s Kitchen for 11th and 12th seasons. Produced by ITV Studios America, the show puts aspiring restauranteurs through a grueling cooking academy. Season 10 is due to premiere on the network on May 29.

Finally, Logo has ordered a fifth season of the drag queen competition series RuPaul’s Drag Race from World of Wonder Productions for an early 2013 air date. The gay-centric cable net made the announcement alongside an open casting call asking potential contestants to audition via Facebook. Viewers will be able to vote on the submissions and the winner will join the cast.
