The initial line-up for the Hispanic YouTube channel from Ben Silverman’s multimedia studio Electus, which launches today (April 16), includes a reality competition series from Wilmer Valderrama and a reality series starring Sofia Vergara (pictured) and her son Manolo.

NuevOn will offer reality, drama and comedy formats aimed at young, multi-cultural Latinos, and was created by Electus in partnership with Latin World Entertainment’s (Latin WE) CEO Luis Balaguer and his team.

Titles for the channel include King of the Floor, created and executive produced by Wilmer Valderrama. The reality competition series looks at the world of underground break dancing and will premiere in the coming months. Meanwhile, Mi Vida Con Toty looks at Sofia Vergara’s Hollywood Latino life through the eyes of Manolo González Vergara, her 20-year-old son. The behind-the-scenes series premieres a new episode every Wednesday.

Other titles include Feim Fix, a Hispanic entertainment news, fashion and humor series hosted by Felipe Viel; Turn It On with Alexandra Pomales, which features NuevOn highlights; and Yes You Can with Chaban, featuring actor Alejandro Chaban as he helps overweight fans lose weight.

“With such an incredible line-up of Latino super-stars, NuevOn is uniquely positioned to create a tremendous splash in the Hispanic community and beyond with some of the most entertaining shows the web has yet to see,” said Drew Buckley, COO and head of digital for Electus.

“NuevOn will give U.S. Hispanics and Latinos around the world high entertainment content, humor, gossip, drama, series, and a chance to enjoy their favorite stars as never before,” added Luis Balaguer, founder and CEO of Latin WE. “But most importantly, NuevOn will also become an incubator of talented stars, producers and formats that will transcend into other media.”

Electus will unveil the NuevOn Channel’s full talent and programming slate in the coming weeks.
