BuzzTaxi finds bevy of buyers

Toronto-based distributor BuzzTaxi Communications has announced a raft of international and domestic sales, with Beyond Survival (pictured) headed to Quebec, Sibling Rivalry to Finland and GetConnected to Korea.

In Canada, CBC’s digital channel documentary has picked up season three of Associated Producers’ The Naked Archaeologist, while in Quebec, Canal Evasion picked up Les Stroud Productions’ 10 x 60-minute adventure/travel series Beyond Survival.

Also in Quebec, Canal D acquired two HD specials from Gryphon Productions, Uakari: Secrets of the English Monkey and the 90-minute The Real Lost World.

Spain’s Chellomedia picked up The Decorating Adventures of Ambrose Price, while the cable rights to the 26 x 30-minute Firvalley Productions series were also picked up in Ukraine.

Cream Productions’ Sibling Rivalry will air in Finland following a deal with Nelonen.

New Zealand’s TVNZ has acquired four titles including Midnight Sun Production’s 100 Days, Polygamy’s Lost Boys from Bountiful Films, Cocked Hat Ventures’ Abandoned in the Arctic and seasons two and three of Food Jammers from Peace Point Productions.

Also in New Zealand, Sky Networks has acquired the HD special The Real Vampire Files from MDF Productions.

Elsewhere, BuzzTaxi has sold 13 episodes of Blink Media Works’ technology series GetConnected to Korea’s SkyHD channel.
