Hell’s Kitchen producer A. Smith & Co. Productions has hired veteran reality producer and show runner Matt Odgers to serve as senior VP.

Formerly executive producer at 51 Minds, Odgers has spent a decade primarily developing and producing comedy-reality and docu-soap formats for VH1, including Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, I Love New York and The Surreal Life.

At A. Smith & Co., he will oversee the expansion of the company’s slate, which includes Kitchen Nightmares and American Ninja Warrior, into a broad range of formats. “Matt gives us the ability to create new and entertaining formats that serve the needs of our broadcast and cable partners while continuing our tradition for delivering quality entertainment across a broad range of genres,” said Arthur Smith, CEO of A. Smith & Co. Productions.

In addition to hiring Odgers, the company also promoted Sharalynn Cornwall from VP to senior VP of production, and Matt Miller from VP to senior VP of programming.
