Samantha Maltin, former senior vice president of global partnerships for Viacom International Media Networks, has been appointed as SVP of marketing for History and H2 and its portfolio of brands.

At History, she will lead all consumer and strategic multi-platform marketing programs, on-air, brand development, promotional and branding campaigns and integrated partnerships. She’ll also be responsible for driving the expansion of H2.

At Viacom, she led the strategy to drive globalization and monetization of Nickelodeon and developed international and multi-local partnerships with major U.S, European, Latin American and Asian brands.

“Samantha has the strategic marketing prowess, progressive thinking and depth of experience to take the reins of shaping the brand and monetizing it across all existing and emerging platforms,” said History president and GM Nancy Dubuc. “Recognized for creating signature partnerships for some of America’s most iconic brands worldwide including Nickelodeon, her 360 approach to marketing has generated millions of dollars in revenue for every property she has touched. I am confident that she will be the guiding force that expands the History and H2 portfolios and leverages their assets everywhere.”

“I am thrilled to work with Nancy and this stellar team on a brand that is the envy of the entertainment industry” added Maltin.
