Shine America ups Lee Rierson

Lee Rierson (pictured), most recently managing director and head of worldwide business for Reveille, has been promoted to the role of chief operating officer of Shine America.

Lee Rierson has been named chief operating officer of Shine America, a promotion from his previous role of managing director and head of worldwide business and operations for Shine America’s former company Reveille.

Reporting to Shine America CEO Carl Fennessy, he will be responsible for all of the corporate and strategic operations, production studios, business and legal affairs, labor relations and human resources for Shine America, the new banner for Shine Group’s U.S. divisions.  

Rierson has been with Shine since 2006, and prior to that he was the VP of business affairs at ABC.

“Lee’s vast entertainment experience and strategic expertise make him the ideal executive to help us lead Shine America into a new era, as we look to expand our imprint in the U.S. broadcast and cable TV marketplace,” said Fennessy.
