Simon Cowell’s Syco TV and All3Media-owned Optomen Television are partnering for Food, Glorious Food, a series for UK net ITV1 which will see a member of the British public’s home-cooked recipe land on the shelves of retailer Marks & Spencer.

The show is set to launch in February next year, and is open now to entrants who have a special recipe. The winning dish will be sold in Marks & Spencer stores across the UK, and will also earn the winner a cash prize of £20,000 (USD$31,000). Budding chefs are encouraged to have a special story behind the recipe.

Syco Television is a brand under the Syco Entertainment banner – the music, TV and film production joint venture between Simon Cowell and Sony Music Entertainment – which produces the X Factor and Got Talent franchises; while the London- and New York City-based Optomen has credits including Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares, Heston’s Feasts and Mary Queen of Shops.
