Ice Pilots, On The Case and the Canadian edition of the Housewives franchise (pictured) are among the series making renewals news this week.

The Weather Channel Companies has ordered a second season of the docuseries Ice Pilots, which follows the crew of Buffalo Airways as they brave harsh weather conditions in Canada’s Northwest Territories to transport cargo in vintage warplanes.

The 13 x 30-minutes series is produced by Omni Film and will premiere on July 16 at 9 p.m.

Meanwhile, On The Case With Paula Zahn will return to U.S. net Investigation Discovery for a seventh season in the fourth quarter of this year. The news magazine show, which airs on Sunday nights at 10 p.m., examines headline-grabbing criminal cases and is produced by Scott Sternberg Productions and Weinberger Media.

Finally, Slice has picked up a second season of The Real Housewives of Vancouver, the Canadian spin-off of Bravo’s Housewives franchise, from Lark Productions. A spokeswoman for the Canadian reality network could not yet confirm the number of episodes or a target air date.
