U.S. cable network History is to spin-off its series American Pickers with Picked Off, a six-part competition series that is set to premiere in July.

The new series is made by American Pickers indie Cineflix Productions, and sees weekend ‘pickers’ go head-to-head in a series of elimination challenges to find items they think will fetch top market value. The spin-off premieres July 11 at 10 p.m. EST.

Every episode of Picked Off takes place in a different locale, and the challenges reflect the culture and history of each location. The show’s host is former NFL player and actor Keith Neubert, and the show’s judges are antique experts Todd and Ethan Merrill.

Susan Werbe is the executive producer for History, while the exec producers for Cineflix are Mark Poertner and Stephen Pettinger. Julie Cooper is the supervising producer.
