Zodiak Rights has sealed a life-of-series distribution deal with Maverick Television for Channel 4′s Embarrassing Bodies and How to Look Good Naked, and BBC3′s Bizarre ER.

The agreement renews Zodiak’s finished program and format rights for the titles and covers future series and all spin-offs such as Embarrassing Fat Bodies and Embarrassing Bodies: Live from the Clinic.

“The international success of these franchises has extended far beyond the UK commissioning cycle,” said Zodiak Rights London MD Jane Millichip in a statement. “All three titles continue to sell extensively internationally, so we are thrilled to be able to manage finished and format business for life-of-series.”

Season five of Embarrassing Bodies (8 x 60 minutes) aired on Channel 4 in March and Embarrassing Fat Bodies (4 x 60 minutes) will air later in the year. The show airs in more than 100 markets and has been produced in Belgium and Holland by VTM and RTL 4, respectively.

Zodiak has sold the show to Discovery U.S.’s Fit TV (now Discovery Fit & Health), Canal Vie Astral in Quebec and La Sexta in Spain. It has also sold Bizarre ER to True Visions Company Limited in Thailand, Foxtel and Seven Network in Australia, La Sexta in Spain and TLC Balkans in Romania, Russia and Poland. How to Look Good Naked has been sold to Antena TV Group in Spain, Kanal 2 in Estonia, Sky Italia and Gravis LLC in Ukraine.
