DRG sells “Home By Novogratz” to Eastern Europe

The independent distributor has sold the design series, which stars husband and wife team Bob and Cortney Novogratz (pictured), to broadcasters in Poland and Estonia.

Independent distributor DRG has sold design show Home By Novogratz (pictured) to both Canal+ owned Polish channel Domo+ and Estonia’s Kanal 2.

Produced by Left Right Inc, the series stars husband and wife design team Bob and Cortney Novogratz and airs on HGTV in the United States. Its second season (13 x 30-minutes) is due to premiere on the cable network this summer.

Season one aired in more than 70 territories, on networks including Lifestyle Channel in Australia, Fox in Latin America, TV2 in Norway, Li TV in Asia and TVB in Hong Kong.

“There’s a growing trend for upscale home makeover shows in the Central and Eastern European territories and Home By Novogratz resonates with broadcasters targeting co-viewing audiences in their key 16-34 demographic,” said Reema Patel, sales manager at DRG, in a statement.  “The show’s distinct makeover style that enables viewers to recreate in their own homes, along with its high production values, has made it a must-buy for broadcasters worldwide.”
