Screaming Flea names Liza Keckler development VP

Seattle-based production company Screaming Flea Productions has hired former Travel Channel executive producer Liza Keckler (pictured) to be its new VP of program development.
Keckler takes on the role left vacant by Jodi Flynn, who departs for Cineflix at the end of July, as previously reported. This is a return to the prodco for Keckler, who joined Screaming Flea in 2000 as showrunner, directer, producer and writer of numerous series and specials, including Hoarders.
Keckler’s other credits include producing, writing, directing and creating shows for Food Network, Discovery, HGTV, A&E, National Geographic and BIO, among others.
“After working closely with Liza for a number of years, we felt she was the perfect person for the position. She understands the business, is creative, and most of all is a perfect fit to help us continue to grow,” said Matt Chan, president and general manager of Screaming Flea.
