Shaw Media promotes Nick Crowe to factual content director

Crowe comes to the role as a factual production executive, with such credits as D-Day to Victory, Manson, Storming Juno and William Shatner's Weird or What.

Canadian broadcasting company Shaw Media has promoted Nick Crowe to director of original factual content.

In his new role, Crowe will oversee development and production of new series and specials from indie producers for History Television, TVtropolis, and Global Television.

Crowe was most recently a factual production executive, with credits including D-Day to Victory, Manson, Storming Juno and William Shatner’s Weird or What.

He earlier completed production stints at Alliance Atlantis Communications and Canwest Broadcasting, the predecessors to Shaw Media, as a production executive and program manager for History Television.

Crowe will report to Sarah Jane Flynn, senior director, original factual content at Shaw Media.
