Red Arrow Entertainment Group’s distribution arm, formerly known as SevenOne International, has rebranded as Red Arrow International.
The distributor says the rebrand is intended to reflect a connection with its parent company as well as its global reach , with offices in London and Hong Kong.
Red Arrow International will also extend its efforts in gap financing, and securing international coproduction and co-financing partners.
“Seven years ago SevenOne International started from scratch,” said Jens Richter, managing director of Red Arrow International. “Thanks to the trust and support of our broadcasting and production partners the past years have been incredibly exciting and inspiring. Now, we are thrilled to take our business to the next level together with the strength of our group and our valuable third party producers.”
The news follows the recent sale of Kinetic Content’s The Taste to U.S. network ABC, which ordered eight episodes of the cooking competition show.
In The Taste, celebrity chefs Nigella Lawson and Anthony Bourdain head up a panel of four judges, where America’s “most skilled cooks” are pitted against one another.
