Zodiak Media has promoted chief finance officer Laurent Boissel (pictured), handing him the expanded role of chief financial and operating officer as part of a restructuring.

Boissel will assume his new responsibilities immediately, and will continue to report to Zodiak CEO David Frank, working closely with the firm’s Paris and London teams.

The appointment follows the departure of current group COO Jonny Slow, who is moving to take up his new position as CEO of Zodiak Americas, based in LA.

In addition, Roisin Thomas and Jana Bakunina – who both currently serve as VP of corporate development – are becoming chief of staff (reporting to Frank) and VP of corporate finance (reporting to Boissel) respectively. Zodiak said that further hires are expected “to support key HQ functions.”

In a statement, Frank said: “With Jonny Slow’s move to Los Angeles, I am delighted that Laurent has agreed to take on this key additional responsibility. His knowledge and experience of this group makes him the perfect candidate for this role.”
