Ex-Zodiak VP Andreas Boenisch joins Can’t Stop

Formerly a VP of sales for Zodiak Rights, Boenisch will work to expand the London-based indie distributor's global sales and acquisitions, with a special focus on German-speaking territories.

London-based independent distributor Can’t Stop Media has made former Zodiak Rights vice president of sales Andreas Boenisch a partner in the company.

He will work alongside founding partner Matthieu Porte to boost Can’t Stop’s global sales and acquisitions and increase business in German-speaking territories.

“Partnering with someone as talented and hard-working as Andreas will allow Can’t Stop to grow even faster, combining the know-how of a large group with the flexibility of a start-up,” Porte said in a statement.

While at Zodiak, Boenisch sold programming to territories in Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Africa. He also headed up promo production of new Zodiak formats before moving into sales.

Prior to that he was head of international business development and coproductions at Blue Eyes Television in Munich, worked as a project manager at Discovery Networks and Warner Bros., and as a producer in London on documentary and factual entertainment projects for C4, Virgin Media and Discovery, among others.
