Jupiter Entertainment opens NY office

Production company Jupiter Entertainment has opened an office in New York.
The new office will handle development and production on the series Homicide Hunters for Investigation Discovery, and an unnamed series for the National Geographic Channel. Matt Sprouse, a veteran producer with Jupiter, will oversee the operations in New York and Harrison Land will manage the development and production of its new shows.
The New York shop is the company’s third office. The firm is headquartered in Knoxville, Tennessee, and opened an office in Los Angeles in 2010. The West Coast shop runs development and production on Discovery Channel’s Sons of Guns and Animal Planet’s Wild West Alaska.
Jupiter has also produced series for Oxygen, A&E, History Channel, TruTV and Fuse.
