Sundance Channel will be available on TrueVisions in Thailand, while Sundance On-Demand will debut in China, following the completion of several deals made by AMC/Sundance Channel Global.

The channel will be seen for the first time in Thailand on pay-TV operator TrueVisions, and will be offered on digital satellite and cable as a subtitled 24/7 linear channel in high definition.

On the VoD side, Sundance will appear in China for the first time on Shanghai Media Group’s BesTV and on the Group’s TV Everywhere mobile and tablet service.

It will also be available on Belgacom in Belgium, where both films and series will be offered on the Sundance Channel VoD.

“Our first-ever launches in Thailand and China will extend the Sundance brand across these high growth Asian markets,” said Bruce Tuchman, president of AMC/Sundance Channel Global. “We’ll continue to pursue expansion across linear and on-demand platforms, including TV Everywhere initiatives, to offer audiences wider access to our iconic content on an authenticated basis to reinforce the high value of the pay-TV ecosystem.”
