Champtaloup joins Remarkable Content Group

Non-fiction distribution company Remarkable Content Group has tapped former Cinemax exec Jill Champtaloup to be its senior VP of acquisitions and content distribution.
She joined Remarkable founders Andrea Eisen and Beth Fraikorn in the Stamford, Connecticut office earlier this summer. In her role, Champtaloup is charged with spearheading acquisitions and distribution of alternative television series, libraries, documentaries, digital and branded products. She is also responsible for growing Remarkable’s TV library.
Prior to joining the firm, she was VP of program planning and scheduling at HBO, where she helped launch the Cinemax brand, and played was involved in developing and launching eight linear channels, digital platforms and on-demand channels.
“Jill’s experience in programming and scheduling at Cinemax and its sister channels has given her incredible insight into the needs of emerging traditional and digital channels,” said Eisen. “She knows how the schedules come together and can effectively see where the programming holes exist and fill them.”
“Her extensive experience in developing and understanding innovative programming for traditional and non-traditional channels as well as her expertise in positioning, scheduling, and new business development is quite an asset to have at Remarkable Content Group,” added Fraikorn.
