ITV, Twofour move into “Storage”

British broadcaster ITV has commissioned UK production company Twofour to produce two daytime series, Storage Hoarders and Holiday Home Sweet Home.

British broadcaster ITV has commissioned UK production company Twofour to produce two daytime series, Storage Hoarders and Holiday Home Sweet Home.

Storage Hoarders, a 20 x 60-minutes series, will explore the recent rise in demand for storage units. Presented by Aggie Mackenzie, the series will also shine a light on couples who have too many possessions and are challenged to sort through their stuff, sell off items and earn cash for their collectibles.

Holiday Home Sweet Home, meanwhile, is a 20 x 60-minutes series hosted by actor and TV presenter Lisa Faulkner, which sees 12 holiday home owners and letting agents across the UK cope with a busy summer season. The two series will air later this year on ITV1.

“Both series are being produced from our Plymouth office and represent a really significant investment in out of London production,” said Twofour MD Melanie Leach. “These commissions, along with Tasty Travels with Lynda Bellingham, are our first for ITV daytime and we’re delighted to have the opportunity of growing a returnable slate for ITV1.”
