A+E Networks UK hires Viacom exec

Bakori Davis (pictured) has been appointed to the newly created role of vice president of commercial operations for A+E Networks UK, effective immediately.

Bakori Davis (pictured) has been appointed to the newly created role of VP of commercial operations for A+E Networks UK, effective immediately.

He will be responsible for all linear and non-linear channel distribution of A+E Network UK’s channels, including History, Crime & Investigation, Bio and Military History within the UK, Ireland, Central and Eastern Europe, the Nordic region, Benelux, Iceland, Greece, Africa and the Middle East.

Davis will also manage A+E Networks UK’s ad sales efforts, and will report to the channel’s MD Tom Davidson.

Prior to this appointment, Davis was VP for content distribution at Viacom Media Network, and held roles at Discovery Communications and the National Cable and Television Association.
