Shine International grows acquisitions team

The sales and distribution arm of Shine Group has made several appointments within its acquisitions division, naming former BBC Worldwide (BBCWW) executive Georgia Brown for the role of director of acquisitions.
Brown joins Shine International in mid-September, and will be charged with leading the company’s acquisitions of third-party material for territories outside of North America. Reporting to CEO Camilla Hammer, Brown previously spent six years of working at BBCWW as commercial manager for drama.
Elsewhere, Jimmy Humphrey joins as an acquisition executive, from FremantleMedia, while Rebecca Dundon is promoted to acquisitions co-ordinator.
“Georgia brings an impressive track-record for working with a wide range of high-profile producers across scripted and factual, we’re all looking forward to her joining our growing team,” said Hammer.
