Sundance Channel appoints digital media SVP

Formerly an exec at Logo, Claudia Gorelick (pictured) will head up development, distribution and partnerships for the U.S. cable network's digital initiatives.

AMC Networks’ Sundance Channel has hired Claudia Gorelick (pictured) to head up development, distribution and partnerships for the U.S. cable network’s digital initiatives as SVP, digital media and business strategy.

Formerly VP, strategy and operations for the Viacom-owned cable net Logo, Gorelick will also shape the vision for Sundance’s various digital platforms, including online, VOD, mobile and iTV.

“We are thrilled Claudia is joining our team,” said Sundance Channel general manager Sarah Barnett in a statement. “She is an innovator and dynamic executive with a proven track record in brand strategy and long-range investment planning that will help expand our brand and create new business opportunities for the network.”

While at Logo, Gorelick managed the channel’s operations, business strategy, digital distribution and retail partnerships. Prior to that she was director of services marketing for small and medium business at SAP and worked as a senior manager of strategic planning and business development for IBM. She has worked for Razorfish, Inc., WNYC Radio and Routledge.
