ITV Studios draws from “The Money Pump”

ITV Studios has acquired the rights to Dori Media Group's primetime game show format The Money Pump for eight major territories, including the UK, U.S. and Australia.

ITV Studios has acquired the rights to Dori Media Group’s primetime game show format The Money Pump for eight major territories, including the UK, U.S. and Australia.

Local ITV production companies in the UK, U.S., Germany, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland will produce the show.

The one-hour game show puts well-acquainted contestants against each other in front of a “money pump,” where they answer trivia questions to build up winnings. As the host waits for answers, the money pump allows three seconds before it starts to pump money away from the prize fund.

Dori Media Darset and Tanin Productions began production of the second season of The Money Pump in June for Israel’s Reshet Channel 2.
