A&E unveils “Be the Boss”

U.S. cable network A&E has tapped Studio Lambert to produce Be the Boss, a competition series pitting two franchise employees against each other to win their own franchise.
Premiering on December 2 at 10 p.m. EST/PST, the series takes two lower-level employees of a franchise-based company, and puts them in a series of challenges to test whether they can handle a senior management role. The winner gets an even larger prize, taking the keys to his or her own franchise, while the runner-up wins a promotion.
Companies taking part in the first season include Complete Nutrition, Auntie Anne’s, Signal 88 Security, Molly Maid, Jazzercise and The Melting Pot.
Executive producers for Studio Lambert are Stephen Lambert, Eli Holzman, Aaron Saidman, Brien Meagher and Phil Lott. Executive producers for A&E are Elaine Frontain Bryant, Drew Tappon, Nicole Reed and Tom Moody.
