U.S. network Investigation Discovery (ID) has promoted two, with Kevin Bennett (pictured, left) named general manager and Jane Latman (right) upped to senior VP of development.
Bennett retains his responsibilities as senior VP of programming and research for ID, Destination America and Military Channel, in addition to the new role, which takes effect immediately. Latman, meanwhile, reports to Bennett.
“Over the past year, Kevin has been my key business partner for growing ID into the number 10 brand for women, and Jane is the creative genius behind so many of our successful and highly addictive series,” said Henry Schleiff, president and general manager of ID, Destination America and Military Channel, to whom Bennett reports.
“Our phenomenal 42 consecutive months of growth would not have been possible without their leadership and innovation.”
Before joining Schleiff’s team, Bennett was senior VP of programming at sister network Discovery Channel, where he was responsible for planning, directing and executing the programming strategy for the flagship brand.
Latman, meanwhile, is a nine-year veteran of Discovery Communications, having held roles at ID, Military Channel and Discovery Times Channel.
