“The Liquidator” heads to Europe

Canadian distributor Picture Box Distribution has sold docuseries The Liquidator to Discovery Networks International for its DMAX channels in Europe.

Post- MIPCOM, the half-hour series will now air via Discovery in territories including Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Italy and France.

The Liquidator, produced by Edmonton- and Vancouver-based Anaid Productions in association with OLN in Canada, follows Direct Liquidation owner Jeff Schwarz as he haggles and trades in the liquidation world for the next big deal.

The second season of The Liquidator premiered on Nov. 8 on OLN.

International TV sales and distribution agency Picture Box Distribution has offices in Vancouver and Toronto.
