“Home Strange Home,” “You Live In What?” head to HGTV Canada

The Shaw Media specialty channel is also launching new seasons of Canada's Handyman Challenge and Income Property for winter, the latter of which is hosted by Scott McGillivray (pictured).

HGTV Canada is offering a window into unconventional living spaces as part of its winter 2013 programming lineup.

The Shaw Media specialty channel kicks off its winter schedule on January 2 with four new series, including Living Abroad, a pick up from HGTV U.S.; House Hunters hybrid House Hunters: Renovation; You Live In What? and Home Strange Home.

Canadian series returning to the lineup for new seasons include Cineflix’s Property Virgins Mondays at 9 p.m. (starting January 7), with back-to-back episodes, Canada’s Handyman Challenge Tuesdays at 10 p.m (January 22); RTR Media’s Income Property Thursdays at 9 p.m. (January 31; host Scott McGillivray pictured above) and Si Entertainment’s Leave It To Bryan Thursdays at 10 p.m. (February 7).
