Stefanie Gélinas (pictured) has been named senior VP of the newly launched U.S. Creativity & Innovation (C&I) arm of Zodiak Media.

Previously she was the VP of development for Endemol Germany, VP of development and strategy of FremantleMedia, and most recently the managing director of Talpa Content USA.

Based in Zodiak’s Santa Monica office, Gélinas will report to Jonny Slow, CEO of Zodiak Americas, and London-based Cathy Rogers, director of the C&I Unit.

Working alongside Zodiak USA CEO Natalka Znak and her development team, Gélinas will work to connect Zodiak Media producers worldwide to foster the creation of primetime format brands with global appeal. She will oversee an LA-based creative Think Tank, and is currently looking for a VP of development to join her team.

“For a company our size, it’s essential that we have a team like the C&I Unit to connect the different parts of the group together in a creative dialog,” said Slow. “With her background in international format development and sales, Stefanie is the perfect addition to the C&I Unit and will ensure that their work remains relevant and valuable to Zodiak’s producers in both North and South America.”
