Big Brother producer Endemol has named Martha Brass (pictured) as chief operating officer and Edwin van Es as chief financial officer.

Brass was formerly the managing director of international operations and will continue to oversee emerging markets while taking on operational responsibilities for Scandinavia and Central and Eastern Europe in her new role.

Her appointment follows the resignation of Virgine Calmels, Endemol Group chief operating officer and Endemol France CEO, last week.

The appointments are part of a senior management restructuring centered around the formation of a new management committee that will “focus on overseeing and supporting the business on a day-to-day basis,” the company siad. Boudewijn Beusmans, the company’s global head of legal and corporate secretary, will also join the committee.

“The new management committee brings together a team of people who are highly experienced and extremely effective in their respective fields,” said Endemol CEO Just Spee in a statement. “This new structure will help us to focus on the key strategic drivers of the business as we look to continue the growth and diversification Endemol achieved throughout 2012.”
