Former 44 Blue Productions director of development Corey Rogers (pictured) has joined DCD Media-owned September Films USA as VP of development.

Based out of the LA office, Rogers will work with VP of development Lisa Mao to create new projects, effective immediately.

Over his three years at 44 Blue Productions, Rogers oversaw development of non-fiction series for networks including VH1′s House of Consignment and CMT’s Swanderosa, and contributed to the development of projects for OWN, Investigation Discovery, History, Animal Planet and Style.

Prior to 44 Blue, Rogers held executive development and consultant roles at Go Go Luckey Entertainment, Machinima and Brand New Entertainment.

“The appointment of Corey marks the first step in our expansion program Stateside,” said David Green, president and chairman of September Films USA. “Corey will bring significant value to the creative team, working alongside Lisa Mao and myself on exciting new formats and reality series, and capitalizing on September Films’ track record and reputation in the buoyant non-fiction TV market.”

“September Films will continue to make noise in the reality space,” added Rogers. “I’m looking forward to building upon the foundation that David has spent years creating.”
