Olivier Gers is set to leave Endemol as CEO of commercial division Endemol Worldwide Brands, the latest in a recent series of moves at the international prodco.

Gers will leave the company shortly. During his time as CEO of EWB, a role in which he served since February 2010, Gers focused on extending Endemol’s IP and commercial activities across platforms, particularly second screen applications.

Earlier this week, Endemol France CEO Virginie Calmels resigned, and the company named Martha Brass its chief operating officer.

“Olivier has played a key role in expanding and diversifying Endemol’s global brands business including successfully implementing a second screen strategy around international formats,” said Tim Hincks, president of Endemol Group. “We’re grateful for all he has done as CEO of EWB and wish him the very best for the future.”

“I have really enjoyed my tenure at Endemol and would like to thank first and foremost my team around the world whose dedication and hard work have allowed me to move the company forward in so many different areas and deliver such growth,” said Gers.
