BermanBraun names senior unscripted TV exec

BermanBraun has hired T Group Productions' senior VP of development, Gunnar Wetterberg, to be its senior unscripted television executive.

BermanBraun has hired T Group Productions’ senior VP of development, Gunnar Wetterberg, to be its senior unscripted television executive.

Prior to his work with T Group, Wetterberg was head of development at Magical Elves, where he developed and sold a number of formats including Top Chef and Treasure Hunters.

Gene Stein, BermanBraun’s president of television, said of Wetterberg: “He has proven himself to be a true innovator in the world of television and we look forward to working with him on expanding our unscripted business.”

Wetterberg added: “Gail Berman and Lloyd Braun are brilliant storytellers and business strategists. Together, they have built a 21st century company that has become the vanguard of modern media, and I feel privileged to be a part of it.”
