Gedeon appoints docu-drama producer

French production company Gedeon Programmes has appointed Cecile Kiegel as its producer of docu-drama programming, with a focus on historical projects.

French production company Gedeon Programmes has appointed Cécile Kiegel as its producer of docu-drama programming, with a focus on historical projects.

Kiegel was most recently with Montparnasse Productions, heading up development of fiction projects there, after spending seven years with Marathon Productions as a line producer of documentaries and artistic producer of fiction programming.

Upcoming projects from the Paris-based company include The Incredible Story of Madame Tussaud, an English-French copro with ARTE’s involvement, and The History of the Crusades, produced in association with Culturespaces.
