Jupiter, Weinstein Co. invite TLC to “Myrtle Manor”

U.S. cable network TLC is launching a 10-part series set in a trailer park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, called Welcome to Myrtle Manor.

U.S. cable network TLC is launching a 10-part series set in a trailer park in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, called Welcome to Myrtle Manor.

Produced by The Weinstein Company and Jupiter Entertainment, the hour-long series is set to premiere on March 3 at 10 p.m.

The series will go inside the mobile home community, which has recently changed its name and made improvements, in an effort to rebrand as a five-star resort.

The quirky residents featured in the series include Becky, Myrtle Manor’s landlord; motorcycle riding Jeana; Becky’s father Cecil; and the community’s head of security Marvin.

Other characters include jingle writer Bandit; Miss Peggy, the oldest resident of Myrtle Manor; and Shellie, a Wiccan.
