BAM Distribution picks up BB King doc

BAM Distribution has acquired the Canadian rights to the feature doc BB King: The Life of Riley (pictured), which it will release theatrically this spring.

BAM Distribution has acquired the Canadian rights to the feature doc BB King: The Life of Riley (pictured), which it will release theatrically this spring.

The film, narrated by Morgan Freeman, is directed and produced by Jon Brewer of UK-based Emperor Media. It recalls the life and career of the legendary musician from the 1940s to the present day. Eric Clapton, Bono, Bruce Willis, Carlos Santana and other musicians appear in the film.

The deal was negotiated by Iain Taylor from BAM and Guy Collins from GFM Films.
