On the heels of another successful Realscreen Summit, the realscreen team is back to work planning and programming the next must-attend event for anyone involved in the production, distribution or broadcasting of reality television and factual entertainment fare – Realscreen West.

The conference returns to the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Santa Monica, June 5 & 6, 2013. Realscreen West is now in its fifth year and brings together stakeholders in the reality TV/factual entertainment industry together for two days of inspiration, discussion about the current state of reality/factual TV and where it’s going, and of course, networking. We’ll be maximizing the networking and learning experience, and will once again be offering Speed Pitching, 30 Minutes With and Meet an Expert sessions to registered delegates. The conference includes the presentation of the Realscreen Awards presented in association with Scripps Networks Interactive on June 5th, when we will pay tribute to outstanding unscripted/non-fiction content that entertains and engages audiences around the world. Submissions for the awards are now closed and entries are being prepped for judging.

In order to deliver a conference program that is fresh, relevant and inspiring, we’ve once again assembled an advisory board of leaders from the production and broadcast sides of the business of unscripted entertainment to guide the direction of content.
