Charlotte Street, currently Shed Media’s head of commercial affairs, has been named as Ed Nissen’s replacement as MD of Renegade Pictures.
Nissen served as MD of the company for three years before deciding to leave Renegade to pursue other opportunities. He will stay on until April to assist in the transition period.
Renegade, which was acquired by Shed Media Group in April of last year, will be led by Street as the company looks to continue its growth.
Street has worked within the Shed Media Group for more than 10 years, including roles as director of commercial affairs at Ricochet, and head of production at Ricochet Digital.
The company has also promoted Alexis Price to the role of head of development, where she will oversee factual, factual entertainment and feature formats development. She will also continue to drive the efforts behind Renegade’s existing slate of formats, including Don’t Tell the Bride and Celebrity Wedding Planner.
Previously Price was a development producer at Renegade, where she had worked on the BBC3 format Barely Legal Drivers. She has also worked on development teams at indies Tiger Aspect and Mentorn, and at the BBC.
