VH1 adds “The Gossip Game,” “I’m Married To A…”

U.S. cable network VH1 has added three shows to its spring slate, including a docuseries on media personalities covering the urban entertainment beat, and has also renewed T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle (pictured).

U.S. cable network VH1 has added three shows to its spring slate, including a docuseries on media personalities covering the urban entertainment beat, and has also renewed T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle (pictured).

Premiering on April 1 at 9 p.m. EST/PST, The Gossip Game follows rivals in the New York City media industry, who try to be the first to break hip hop news. The cast includes Power 105.1′s Angela Yee, Hot 97 FM’s K. Foxx, The Source editor-in-chief Kim Osorio, Global Grind’s Sharon Carpenter, Vibe.com columnist Jas Fly, blogger and on-air personality Ms. Drama, and HipHopGossipSite.com’s Vivian Billings, aka NYC Gossip Girl.

The series is produced by Magilla Entertainment, District Media and Monami Entertainment.

Also on the spring slate is documentary series I’m Married To A…, premiering on April 21 at 9 p.m. EST/PST. The series, which borrows the style of sister network MTV’s True Life doc series, features couples in unusual situations that have found their perfect life partner. Episodes in the series include “I’m Married to a Quadriplegic,” “I’m Married to a Gay Mormon ,” “I’m Married to Twins,” “I’m Married to an Adult Baby,” “I’m Married to a Plastic Surgery Addict” and “I’m Married to an Alien Abductee.”

I’m Married To A… is produced by Fishbowl Worldwide Media and Four Henry’s Productions.

Countdown special VH1′s “100 Sexiest Artists” will air on March 5 at 9 p.m. EST/PST, and will rank the sexiest musicians, hosted by Stevie Ryan. It’s executive produced by Karla Hidalgo , Shelly Tatro, and Jeff Olde.

VH1 has also given the green light to a third season of T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle, produced by 51 Minds and Category 5 Entertainment. Premiering on April 8 at 10 p.m. EST/PST, the docuseries follows rapper T.I. “Tip” Harris; his wife, entrepreneur and singer, Tameka “Tiny” Harris; and their six children.
