U.S. net Destination America will this March debut Hidden in America, a one-hour anthology series exploring members-only worlds, kicking off with an episode on underground fight clubs (pictured).

Produced by Beyond Entertainment, the series will interview people directly involved in each secret society, revealing little known facts and opening up the worlds to viewers.

Hidden in America: Underground Fight Clubs kicks off the series on March 9 at 10 p.m. EST/PST, and will explore the world of unrestricted hand-to-hand combat, talking to experts about the reasons why people participate in fight clubs.

Airing on March 10 is Hidden in America: Mormons, exploring the religion by speaking with modern-day Mormons and exploring their faith.

Beyond Entertainment’s John Luscombe serves as executive producer, while Destination America’s Fay Yu is exec producer for the network, Sara Kozak is SVP of production, Marc Etkind is SVP of content strategy, and Henry Schleiff is president and general manager.

“From centuries-old subcultures with chapters across the U.S. to modern secret societies that exist only through word of mouth, to established religions people are curious to know more about, Hidden in America attempts to pull back the curtain on some of our country’s most concealed communities, challenging viewers to reinterpret their idea of what it means to be American,” said Etkind.
