Decades after the Roe v. Wade decision, abortion remains a hot-button topic of vigorous debate in the U.S., with third-trimester abortion a particularly strong lightning rod for controversy. Following the assassination of Dr. George Tiller in 2009, only four physicians in America continue to perform the procedure. This film takes an unflinching look at the issue from the perspective of those physicians and their patients, and aims to illuminate why, in the face of such adversity, they’re committed to their work, even “after Tiller.”
