Families can begin as extremely tight-knit units, but as time progresses and children become adults, the bonds evolve, and sometimes, relationships change as family members themselves do. This format brings the mysteries of the family dynamic front and center, by putting five families, comprised of parents and their adult children, in an RV and sending them on a week-long road trip that could change the way they think about themselves, and each other. With cameras documenting the action 24/7, the format poignantly depicts the twists and turns in the journey of familial relationships.
