Zodiak USA CEO Natalka Znak is leaving the prodco, realscreen has confirmed.

A spokesperson for Zodiak USA confirmed the news, first reported by Broadcast, that Znak would be departing from the post that she’d held since her promotion in June of 2012.

Previously serving as acting CEO for the company following the departure of Grant Mansfield, Znak, who joined Zodiak USA in 2010 as chief creative officer, oversaw the company’s production offices in New York and Los Angeles as well as the company’s programming slate, which includes such series as Hardcore Pawn and Killer Karaoke for truTV, and Wife Swap and Celebrity Wife Swap for ABC.

While no reasons for the move have been provided, it is understood that Znak’s departure is not effective immediately and is amicable.

At the time of her appointment, Zodiak Media chief executive David Frank called Znak “a force of nature and an inspiring creative,” adding, “She’s the perfect leader to build on the success we’ve had at Zodiak USA in the last couple of years.”

Prior to joining Zodiak, Znak was controller of factual entertainment for ITV Studios in London, with credits including such series as I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Hell’s Kitchen.

Shortly after Znak’s official appointment as CEO, it was announced that Jonny Slow, then COO of Zodiak Media, would be relocating from London to LA to become CEO of Zodiak Americas, a division intended to consolidate the company’s production businesses in North, Central and South America.

In January of this year, Zodiak Americas announced the launch of a U.S. Creativity & Innovation, or C&I, division, headed by former Talpa Content USA MD Stefanie Gélinas. The division was described at the time of its announcement as a format think tank, which would work alongside Znak and the development team at Zodiak USA.
