Allison Grace joins Proper as exec producer

The former Shaw Media production executive (pictured) will assist in managing the Toronto-based factual producer's slate of new and existing shows.

Toronto-based factual producer Proper Television has hired former Shaw Media production executive Allison Grace (pictured) to serve as executive producer.

Grace will help manage Proper’s slate of new and existing shows. She most recently worked as a production executive with Shaw Media, overseeing series like Massive Moves, Holmes Inspection II and Decked Out II.

She has worked as a producer and director on factual, documentary and lifestyle programming for multiple Canadian channels, including Global, CBC, HGTV, W Network, Slice and YTV. Grace’s appointment is effective March 25.

Proper Television, headed up by Guy O’Sullivan, sold its third driver challenge reality series, Don’t Drive Here, to Discovery Canada in January.
