Cineflix Rights to shop JFK assassination special at MIPTV

The distribution arm of Cineflix Media is bringing a 200-hour slate to Cannes next month, including the ITV special The Day Kennedy Died.

Cineflix Rights has added the ITV special The Day Kennedy Died to its MIPTV slate to mark the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s assassination in November 2013.

As part of a 200 hour lineup of programming to be shopped in Cannes, the one hour special from Scottish producer Finestripe Productions for ITV1 in the UK and Smithsonian Channel in the U.S. includes testimony from witnesses of the assassination.

Previously announced Cineflix Productions projects bound for MIPTV include Trauma Investigators; Loaded, about truckers battling tight deadlines; and Little Couple, about a newlywed couple, both of whom are under four feet tall.
