Investigation Discovery gets “Inside Waco”

Arrow Media has been tapped by U.S. cable network Investigation Discovery to produce a one-hour special marking the 20th anniversary of the Waco siege.

Arrow Media has been tapped by U.S. cable network Investigation Discovery to produce a one-hour special marking the 20th anniversary of the Waco siege.

ID Films: Inside Waco will air on Investigation Discovery in April. The one-off features previously unheard audio recordings between the FBI, cult leader David Koresh and other Branch Davidians, to tell the inside story of what happened inside the Texas compound in 1993, when a 50-day siege ended with 80 Branch Davidians dying.

For ID, Winona Meringolo and Jane Latman commissioned the documentary. For Arrow Media, Chris Martin is the director and the executive producer is Tom Brisley.

“We’ve had a fantastic first year at Arrow and this commission will further allow us to explore innovative new ways of storytelling as we go from strength to strength in our second year,” said Tom Brisley, creative director at Arrow Media. “This show is exactly the kind of engaging and informative programming that we are dedicated to producing.”
