Central and Eastern European (CEE) content market NATPE Budapest will take place from June 24 to 27 this year at the Sofitel Chain Bridge hotel.
The event will feature a breakfast briefing session entitled ‘Extending the Value of Content – Beyond Borders and Across Platforms,’ moderated by Broadband TV News editor Julian Clover and featuring HBO Europe exec VP of original programming and production Antony Root; a welcome networking reception; and invitation-only screenings.
According to organizers, 250 content buyers from more than 30 countries and 150 exhibitors are confirmed to attend.
“The dynamic CEE market is becoming ever more important for the global content industry,” said Rod Perth, NATPE Content First’s president and CEO, in a statement. “There is an increased desire for international content owners to sell into the region and, with a significant growth in local production, for CEE producers to sell their shows and ideas to other broadcasters both internationally and cross border within the region.”
